Fugitive minister of security of Shevardnadze`s government, wanted N1 terrorist Igor Giorgadze has addressed the prosecutor`s office of Georgia to lift the status of wanted to him and give him an opportunity to return to Georgia. Igor Giorgadze spoke about his plans during a video conference held at the Prime Time Press Club today.
Giorgadze said he was now waiting for the response from Georgian parliament, prosecutor`s office and non-governmental organizations.
Giorgadze also says he was still the chairperson of the Party `Justice` and plans to continue his political activities, which he had never stopped, after returning to homeland. As for cooperation with other political organizations in Georgia, Giorgadze said he only party with which he would never cooperate was the United National Movement.
