In accordance with the decision of the Minister of Internal Affairs law enforcers will start patrolling not only on main streets and highways, but also in each district and street of Tbilisi.
The number of policemen and police vehicles has been increased.
Interior Minister Irakli Gharibashvili said that 111 crews of Patrol Police will serve Tbilisi instead of 76. Also number of patrol Police officers operating in Tbilisi has increased up to 240.
The number of patrol police crews will also increase in regions of Georgia as well.
