Terms for submitting applications to participate in the contest on the post of General Director of the Georgian Public Broadcasting expires today, 18 PM.
There are 100 applications presented for the time being.
The post of GPB's General Director has been vacant since December 14 after Gia Chanturia, former General Director, quit his position. The Board of Trustees of GPB satisfied Chanturia's application for resignation.
Giorgi Baratashvili, Head of Technical Department now is serving as Acting General Director of GPB. The Board will have to approve a new General Director of GPB within one month as required by the law. The competition will be held in 2 stages.
