Member of the United National Movement Zviad Kukava left the interior ministry after two-hour interrogation last night. Kukava was the member of the legal affairs and fiscal-budgetary committee of the parliament of previous convocation and was co-author of the project regarding commercial banks.
He was interrogated as a witness arguably in connection with the case built up on the attempt of deliberate bankrupting of Kartu Bank, which was owned by current Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
The defense of the witness did not speak about the details of the interrogation due to the interests of the investigation. Kukava himself made no comment for media.
