A protest rally and hunger strike continues outside the building of Abasha Municipality Sakrebulo (City Council) in Samegrelo region.
Supporters of Georgian Dream coalition demand resignation of Sakrebulo Chairman Davit Topuria, dismissal of Gocha Chanturia, elected Governor and his replacement by a member of Georgian Dream Irakli Rukhadze.
Clash occurred at the session of the Sakrebulo yesterday. Protesters intruded to the conference hall of the Sakrebulo. Police involved into the incident and took protesters out of the hall.
The protest has been ongoing outside Abasha Municipality Sakrebulo since January 4.
