Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MOIA), in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Israeli, Australian and Swiss law enforcement agencies conducted coordinated arrests in Georgia and Israel of individuals involved in a child exploitation/pornography case.
MOIA's Central Criminal Police Department and MOIA's Interpol Central National Bureau worked closely with DHS, the Department of State and law enforcement officers across three continents from the initial stage of investigation.
This is another example of the strong partnership and cooperation between the United States and Georgia. Law enforcement officials from the United States and Georgia enjoy a mutually beneficial working relationship combating transnational crime.
