Tbilisi is hosting a joint business forum of Georgia and Ukraine. Representatives of over 50 Ukrainian companies are attending the event, where the Georgian authorities are introducing Georgia`s business environment, tax policy and interest to attract foreign investments.
The forum was opened by Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili. Several other ministers are also attending the event. Bidzina Ivanishvili addressed the businessman and said that the business sector would be protected from interference by official structures.
`No official will ever dare interfere in business privacy. The function of the officials will be to assist you in conducting your business activities. I promise that terms and environment in Georgia will not be worse then in European states or even in the United States,` Prime Minister said.
Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze has also commented about the situation in the energy sector. He said the government was doing its best to make the country as independent in the energy sector as possible.
Most of the investments are made in the energy sector in Georgia currently and our government will do its best to assist the businesspersons make more investments. No official will obstruct to you - the door is open and you can enter this sector any time you decide,` Kakha Kaladze announced.
