A reconstructed customs checkpoint "Kazgebi" was opened at the Georgian-Russian state border.
Members of Cabinet of Ministers, MPs and representatives of Diplomatic Corps attended the opening ceremony.
According to Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of Prime Minister for Russian Relations, opening of the checkpoint will contribute to the expansion of trade relations that will be followed to facilitation of visa regime and appointment of regular flights.
These issues will be discussed during the meeting between Abashidze and Gregoiy Karasin, Deputy Russian Foreign Minister in Prague on September 20.
