Honorary chairperson of the Georgian Way political party Salome Zourabichvili says the competence of the Central Election Commission is triggers doubts after the decision taken regarding her registration as the candidate for the president - Zourabichvili was refused registration by the CEC due to her double citizenship. The politician objected the CEC ruling at the courts of first and the second instances, however, the CEC ruling was left in force.
Zourabichvili says she is waiting for the election of a new chairperson, whom she is going to address for revising the decision regarding her registration.
President`s election will be held in Georgia on October 27th. 54 candidates have been already registered by the CEC.
