Members of the Central Election Commission will assemble today to elect a new chairperson. President has nominated three candidates - Tamar Zhvania, Manuchar Gamkrelidze and Konstantine Amirajibi.
In case the commission fails to elect one of the three candidates, the procedure will move to the parliament. Lawmakers will have seven days to elect CEC chairperson.
