Central Election Committee will discuss candidates' applications today.
Georgia's President presented three candidates on vacant post of Chairperson of the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC): Tamar Zhvania, Manuchar Gamkrelidze and Konstantine Amirejibi.
Based on the law, CEC has to elect a new head within 5-day term.
If CEC fails to meet the terms, then parliament will approve the person on the position in 7-day term. All the three candidates have relevant experience.
