Deputy Defence Minister Mikheil Darchiashvili hosted Swiss Ambassador to Georgia, His Excellency Mr. Guenther Baechler today. At the introductory meeting the sides talked about Georgia's contribution to ISAF mission and participation in post-ISAF period. They also referred to the regional security issues.
Mikheil Darchiashvili introduced Swiss diplomat the ongoing reforms in Georgian defence sphere. Cooperation in military educational field and exchanging experience in this respect were one of the main topics at the meeting. The sides also discussed prospects of relation between Georgia and Switzerland and bilateral cooperation plan for 2014.
