Based on data of hotels in Ajara 393.617 people stayed at hotels indicating on 9,68% increase compared with the date of the same period of 2012.

Occupancy rate at means of accommodations reached the highest point i.e. 88,08%, in July while in December the occupancy rate was 10,73%.

Only in December 9.915 visitors stayed at hotels in Ajara. As for statistics according to countries we have the following picture: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, Armenia, Poland, and Israel. Notably the number of hotel rooms in 2013 reached 10.955 that is 588 more rooms than in 2012.

The number of cruise ships has also increased. In 2012 Batumi Sea Port hosted 10 cruise ships brining 3.632 tourists while in 2013 the number of ships reached 16 with 5.162 tourists.
