According to the statement
of the Chief Prosecutor's Office of Georgia former Defense Minister Davit
Kezerashvili was released yesterday from prison on the condition that he will bear an
electronic bracelet. The French judge banned Kezerashvili from leaving the
French territory. He will have to live in Aix-en-Provence, reports GHN.
"The
court allowed Kezerashvili to leave his residence from Monday through Friday
only from 10:00 am to 18:00, while on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to
21:00pm. Kezerashvili will have to bear the electronic bracelet for six months
and not till 27 February when the French court is to resume hearing about his
extradition. By the judge’s decision, Kezerashvili should hand in his two
passports to the court’, informs the Prosecutor’s Office.
