Tbilisi hosted a charity event in tango style, bringing together up to 500 representatives of large and medium-sized businesses, caring to their countrymen in need of support. The Event was hosted by the Association of Women-Philanthropists, with Tbilisi Casino Shangri La as general sponsor.
The event was aimed at raising funds to help young women with breast cancer, for purchasing medications for patients with hemophilia and funding the project for employment of persons with disabilities.
Famous musicians and tango dancers entertained the guests during the event. Fashion show was also organized with participation of the women with breast cancer alongside with the professional models. It is noteworthy that the guest of the event didn't know about serious illness of the participants of the show and considered them quite naturally. Fortunately, outlook of all the women was positive, and the role of models played by them on the podium, symbolized their striving to return to normal life with the greatest possible dispatch.
This is not the first charity event hosted by the Association of Women-Philanthropists under financial support of Shangri La Casino, aimed at feasible contribution to socialization of those, who suffer serious illnesses. It is to be recalled that at the end of last year checkers tournament was held among people with disabilities.
