Georgian figure skater Elene Gedevanishvili held 19th position
after competing in Ladies Short Program and Free Program at Sochi Olympics on
19 and 20 February respectively.
The winner of a gold medal was Adelina
Sotnikova who won Russia's first ever women's Olympic figure skating gold. The
17-year-old took the title ahead of South Korea's Kim Yu-Na, the defending champion,
with Italy's Carolina Kostner winning the bronze after the free skating final.
In total 30 sportsmen took part in the competition.
