In scope of his official visit to US, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili met American businessmen.

Prime Minister brought businessmen up to date about economic situation in Georgia and current business environment in the country.

PM's Press Service mentioned that according to the Prime Minister's explanation, apart from favorable political environment, Georgia offered businessmen: the best public services throughout the region, simple tax system and rapidly developing infrastructure, guarantees for property, copyright and intellectual property protection, access to free and independent judiciary system, effective financial system, transparent legal environment and macroeconomic stability.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Georgia spoke about the legislation and institutional reforms, which are being implemented to ensure free and transparent competitiveness within the market. „Georgia has the ambition to become trade and business hub in the region and regional base for multinational enterprises", - said Irakli Garibashvili during his meeting with the American businessmen.

Special reception in honor of Prime Minister was held today at Georgia-USA Business Council. Irakli Garibashvili attended the working dinner hosted by Georgia -USA Business Council.
