During his meeting with Congressman William Keating Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili pointed out that Georgian authorities represent result-and-future-oriented government.

As reported by PM's Press Service the parties also discussed reforms implemented in Georgia to ensure economic development and democratic consolidation. It was noted that Georgian government greatly appreciates the USA support in this regard.

According to the Prime Minister, protection of human rights represents one of the main priorities of the Georgian government as it is impossible to imagine democratic development of the country without human rights in place. He also stated that USA is not only Georgia's strategic partner, but also a good friend and moving to new qualitative stage of bilateral relations is expected.
