The deadline for applications of candidates seeking membership of Board of Trustees of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) expires today. There are 5 vacant posts in the Board, and 26 applications have been received for the time being.
Davit Usupashvili, Chairman of the Georgian parliament announced a competition for selection of members of Board of Trustees on March 11. Usupashvili presented to the parliament a competition commission with the previous membership.
The 9 members received the proposal and expressed consent to select 15 candidates. Those who did not participate in the first round of selection process can also apply.
