Mikheil Saakashvili faces new charges

The prosecutor`s office of Georgia has filed new charges against the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili. The prosecutor`s office spokesperson reported the details of the crime, for which Saakashvili and the chief of the Special State Protection Service, Temur Janashia have been accused.

According to the prosecution, GEL 8,837,461 was misappropriated from the state budget. The crime envisages 7-11 year sentence.
