The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maja Panjikidze is in Romania with official visit. The Minister participates in the meeting of diplomatic representations of Romania. Maja Panjikidze together with high representative of European Union Catherine Ashton and together with Moldavian colleague Natalia Gherman is invited with the status of special guest on the Ambassadorial, reports GHN.
Before official ceremony of Ambassadorial there was held meeting of high representative of European Union Catherine Ashton, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maja Panjikidze, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affaris of Moldova Natalia Gherman and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Titus Korlecean. The minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania thanked Georgian and Moldavian colleagues for the participation in the event. The Romanian diplomats were applied by the high representative of European Union Catherine Ashton. She talked about the challenges of the region, about issues of international security and about the situation that is created in Ukraine. At the end of the speech she answered the questions of diplomats.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia will deliver as speech to the participants of Ambassadorial today. There is planned face to face meeting with Romanian colleague, with the President of Romanian Senate and the chairman of Chamber of Deputies.
