The Mayor of Tbilisi David Narmania met the ambassador of Estonia in Georgia Priit Turk. The ambassador expressed hope for implementation of different projects between two countries in the spheres of tourism, educational and municipal services, reports GHN.
As David Narmania said after signing Association Agreement with European Union the interest towards Estonia increased. "Estonia is good example for Georgia what way to follow. I am sure we will be able to do many things that will be beneficial for both of us, especially developing municipal service management and standards between capitals," stated Narmania.
As he said it is important to develop electronic services in municipalities, also to work on the issues such as protection of environment taking into account the fact that part of the pre-election program of the mayor was to turn Tbilisi into green town and to create recreational zone of river Mtkvari. It will attract more tourists from Estonia and other countries of the world.
David Narmania invited the mayor of the capital of Estonia on "Tbilisoba Festival" that will be held at the end of October.
