On September 9-11 the customs delegation of Lithuania visited Batumi. The delegation visited Georgia in the frame of the project "Technical support of custom of Georgia in the sphere of custom value and verification" initiated by the government of Lithuania reports GHN.
The guests visited Sarfi customs checkpoint, the land and the port paths of Batumi, were informed about infrastructure and registration procedures. The special attention was paid to the system of defining custom value. On the theme of custom value there was held training on September 10-11 by Lithuanian colleagues that were attended by the 20 representatives of revenue service. There were held discussions about similarities and differences in custom administrations of two countries. In the frame of second stage of the project on September 22-26 six Georgian customs officer will visit Lithuania.
