Poland elects new president

Poland elected Bronislav Komorowski as its new president. Bronislav Komorowski has beaten his rival Jaroslaw Kaczynski at minimal difference of votes.

95 % of the run off votes has been counted that has shown the vote difference for the two candidates between 2-3 %.

The Central Election Commission will publicize the official results of the vote count as expected in the second half of the day.
