Nino Burjanadze, leader of Democratic Movement for United Georgia commented about the last research conducted by NDI. She said the poll is falsified by the government, as the questioned people are afraid and responding in favor of government.
"The area in fact is falsified from the government. People, are afraid of consequences and during the poll are responding in favor of government. I have said this many times to NDI, IRI and other NGOs. The questions must be raised in NDI itself, for this occasion I am sure. The Georgian government is proud of the democracy in the country, at the same time 44% of population is considering no democracy in Georgia does exist. 17% of population said they do not know if the democracy in the country is. This denotes that for them the democracy does not exist as well, "- Burjanadze said to newspaper "Prime Time".
"I am not believe that 52% of population admires the government, and the country needs no changes.  In fact this is not a case. Against the government thousands of people are, "- leader of the Democratic Movement said.
