President Saakashvili looked at the repair works on Aghmashenebeli Avenue; the works are nearing to the end, GHN reports.
He walked over all places at the avenue, were the repair works are pending in 24-hour regime. Such large project is implementing in Georgia for the first time in Tbilisi.
"Here restaurants and café will be opened. The Sharden development started in 2004, after the Rose Revolution, but before here was not any single café, except of one small. All streets were constructed later on. This was a first stage, the second will be nearby. And at the end, through the Vorontsov square the reconstruction will go to the Rike then again to Sharden and the Freedom Squire. Such incredible leisure center for tourists one cannot find nowhere in European capitals, "- Saakashvili said.
The renowned Aghmashenebeli avenue will be opened on November 23.
