Caritas Czech Republic with Local Partners: Charitable Foundation "Caritas Georgia", CIL - Coalition for Independent Living, GASW - Association of Social Workers, GEA - Georgian Employer's Association has the pleasure to launch the project
"People with Disabilities: Natural and Respected Group of Society".
The event will take place on Friday 29th June, at 11:00, Sheraton Metekhi Palace Hotel
The event acquires particular importance because the project "People with Disabilities: Natural and Respected Group of Society" aims to reduce discrimination and social exclusion of people with disabilities and to contribute to their social integration through their active involvement in the work process. Project is financed by Czech Development Agency.
We have the pleasure to host all interested parties: Representatives of Ministries of Georgia, Municipality, NGOs and Business sector who contributes to the improvement of conditions for People with Disabilities employment.
The organization Caritas Czech Republic is active in Georgia since 2000, works for the benefit of the poorest and unprotected social groups in Georgia in the sphere of Emergency and Development, despite of their nationality, creed or social status.
The project "People with Disabilities: Natural and Respected Group of Society" tends to the following objectives:
• To raise awareness about people with disabilities among government bodies, employers and broad public
• To create conditions for necessary legislative changes, to improve conditions for people with disabilities employment
• To facilitate processes and relations between employers and People with disabilities and motivate employers to further employing of people with disabilities.
