Another court hearing into case of Irakli Okruashvili, Georgia's ex-Defense Minister will resume at Tbilisi City Court today.
The Prosecutor accuses Okruashvili of negligence towards his duties during the period of his being Defense Minister in 2006. According to investigation, Okruashvili bought law-quality bullets for ministry. Okruashvili pleads innocent into these allegations.
The former Defense Minister is also accused of violation of 223-e article of criminal code, creation of illegal armed formation and it carries a 6-9-year prison sentence.
Okruashvili returned to Georgia on 20 November. He was detained at the border and taken to Gldani No. 8 prison.
