Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has unveiled one of the scandalous cases of sex video release - Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced yesterday that his deputy Gela Khvedelidze was arrested for uploading private life threesome video of one of the journalists on internet. Khvedelidze was arrested by the ministry under the investigation conducted by the general inspection.
According to the investigation, Gela Khvedelidze had personal discontence with the work of the journalist and therefore, he uploaded his sex video on internet to thrteaten him and force him stop making publications about his activities. Minister announced at the briefing yesterday, that any person violating law would be punished in accordance with Georgian legislation regardless of their position or authority.
The injured side in this scandal, Giorgi Paresashvili has made comments after the detention of the deputy minister. The journalist says the video footage was fabricated. He also says another official, first deputy prosecutor Lasha Natsvlishvili should be also arrested for his wrongdoings, on which he is going to hand over malpractise to the investigation in a few days. Prime Minister`s advisor Gia Khukhashvili is also among the officials, which Paresashvili accuses of machinations.
