Advisor of the President of Georgia Tengiz Fkhaladze held the press conference regarding NATO Wales Summit, reports GHN.
As Tengiz Fkhaladze stated the delegation of Georgia will be represented with the leadership of the President of Georgia Giori Margvelashvili. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Minister of European and Euro Atlantic Integration, also Secretary of the National Security Council, representatives of the administration of President and ambassadors of Georgia in NATO and Great Britain will be in the delegation.
Tengiz Fkhaladze also talked about meeting of the President of Georgia that will be held in London before beginning of the Summit: "September 3 Giorgi Margvelashvili will meet the President of Reconstruction and Development of Europe. The President also will deliver a speech in Royal Institute of International Affairs. While the visit it England Giorgi Margvelashvili will answer question of representatives of international media," stated Tengiz Fkhaladze.
In the frame of the Summit Giorgi Margvelashvili will meet Secretary General of NATO Anders Fogh Rasmussen and leaders of main partner countries.
"Our task is to increase the level of safety of Georgia; this Summit should become the important stage to show the achievements of Georgia and to push the process of joining Georgia into NATO. The main aim of the country is membership in Alliance, we have to find all mechanisms that will accelerate this process," said Tengiz Fkhaladze.
With the statement of the advisor of the President of Georgia the main importance has sense and not form; these is need "to increase more involvement of Georgia into NATO and involvement of NATO in Georgia," stated Fkhaladze.
