The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia talked with her Ukrainian counterpart Pavlio Klimkin by telephone. While conversation the Ministers discussed existing situation in Ukraine. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia expressed concern towards escalation of the situation of Ukraine. While talking with Ukrainian colleague Maja Panjikidze reiterated that Georgia condemns the fact of encroachment of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and supports the effort of international community that is directed towards elimination of crisis, besides the Minister of Foreign Affairs one more time expressed solidarity of Georgian people and Georgian government towards Ukrainian government and population, reports GHN.
While conversation Maja Panjikidze talked about the initiative of the Prime Minister of Georgia to bring Ukrainian children in Georgia for leisure and rehabilitation course. As Maja Panjikidze said the embassy of Georgia in Ukraine is already working in this direction.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine thanked for the initiative of the Prime Minister and for the support of government of Georgia.
While conversation Maja Panjikidze and Pavlo Klimkin agreed to exchange visits and further noted that for bilateral meeting will be used every important forum. The first meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs will be held in Great Britain in the frame of Wales Summit.
